Fees & Payments

Fees & Payments

Summer Session can provide incredible value thanks to its fee structure, which essentially allows you to take two classes for the price of one, or four classes for the price of three. And if you plan ahead well enough, you can use remaining financial-aid eligibility for grants or loans to pay for it.

How much does it cost to attend Summer Session classes?

Summer Session fees vary by program and by number of units taken. The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate, so all CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees. The Summer Session tuition fee structure is the same as the Spring 2016 tuition fee structure.

Financial Aid

Summer financial aid is available for continuing students only and based on eligibility. Visit the Summer Financial Aid website for a detailed information about the options that may be available to you, including:

  • Summer Session Grant
  • Federal Pell Grant
  • Federal Stafford Loan

Important!

  • You will not receive a billing statement for your registration fees. You may view your student account balance at any time by logging on to Titan Online via your student portal.
  • The University is not responsible for delays in the U.S. Postal Service; postmarks are not considered.
  • You may be subject to disenrollment from all of your classes if your payment is not received by the due date. If you switch from part-time (0-6 units) to full-time (7+ units), you must pay your fees by the due date. If not, all your classes are subject to disenrollment. Be sure to check your email on a regular basis.
  • A $25.00 Late Registration Fee will be assessed for students who register on or after the first day of each summer session.
